I'm a cyclone.

Today I have come to a somewhat shockin realization.

I am a cyclone, not a hawkeye.

I always have been a hawkeye, my whole life a big yellow bird. But now im cyclone and red bird in a tornado? Seems a little dangerous I think, I mean how does the bird not kept swept up or impaled by some other object in that cylone? I may never know.

Finals are in less than two weeks.

I'm tweaking.

Party Like A RockStar

Ok so I love rockstar energ drink, I also love RedBull. Thats some amazing stuff. As I stare at an empty can of Rockstar I realize that over the next four weeks(five not including Thanksgiving Break) I will be downing a lot of energy drinks, coffee, and Mt Dew. It is a little crazy to think how busy I am going to be this coming week, all I want are A's is that so hard? Just a lot of studying I guess. Hannah
wanted me to blog and said it onlu takes like ten minutes, ok yea. Well here I am at 2:17 AM mumbling my brains out about nothing, its ok though I promise you Hannah I will blog more! I will talk about my buddhist friend and give some more details and what not about my campus for all 3 people who read this, whoot whoot

The Meaning of Life

I think Monty Python is a prophet. He has the "Meaning of life" I mean how could it be any easier?

I wish it was hat easy.

What is our purpose here? Some people think they are here to experience Karma and become one with chi or whatever buddha likes to tell them. I appreciate that though. At least they have a meaning. Sometimes I think I have meaning. Go to college. Get a degree. Do something sweet that Jesus would smile about. Is that it? Is that all I'm here to do? Now I know lay down your own life and follow Jesus..etc. etc. Which I understand is cool.

But as Tyer Durden would say, "We're the middle children of history, No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression...and we are all very pissed off." I can't say I'm that emotionally disturbed but at the same time doesn't that sum up where my generation is that? Patriotism is a joke in America, we are the laughing stock of a planet and we have a monkey and murderous mad man as a president. Where can you find purpose in that?

Church tells me to chase prosperity be the best and ask for this "prosperity" and God will truly turn you into a "properous" person. That is greed we are a greedy, malicous society so let us package this up in a sermon and and hand it on a silver platter. I'm hearingthat in one ear and in the other I hear "Be pure don't give into the world, don't be like them but invite them to church because they need Jesus. "Partying is bad, drugs and sex are bad to. If you do these you are terrible." How is that different from murdering a person or stealing candy from a candy shop? Why has the westernized church labeled and decided what is worse sins then other? That really confuses me. Now I mean I don't indulge in any of those only because it is what I feel as right. But I go to parties. I mean come on I'm a college kid! I tailgate before football games and go to parties at night, I hear my roommate doing the nasty. (OK thats a little gross but hey its his own deal) Then somethin hits me, I see the book Mere Christianty on his desk! I'm thinking what the hell is that doing there? Is it a project or his own free reading? It is laying with all his magazines so pssibly it is just his own thing.

God is an interesting guy. He can change anyones hearts to Him. I think we all have this desire to know Him. Some of us just don't realize it is God that we are looking for. My friend across the hall is a Buddhist. (we will talk about him another day) He seems to be more connected with spirituality then any Christian I can think of. I know my heart is in a good place right now. I'm nt running or frejecting God. I like God a lot! I just am really frustrated with Christians. They arefake they think they have a free pass to heaven and they are cruel, judgemental, and well lame. Some of the best friends here I have are not Christians they are awesome!

Well it seems I'm starting to rant and ramble enough of this for a bit.
